Elon Musk gets Maha Kumbh invite, ‘hope he …’, says author Amish Tripathi


Elon Musk has been invited to attend the Maha Kumbh mela, one of the largest spiritual gatherings in the world, by acclaimed Indian author Amish Tripathi. Sharing the news on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Tripathi posted, “An invigorating hour spent with none other than @elonmusk, in an exclusive event organised by @manojladwa. We discussed a range of topics from spirituality, consciousness, interplanetary travel, monetary policy, engineering amongst others.”
He further added “And an invitation to the Maha Kumbh Mela! Hope he can make it!!”.

The meeting was part of an event hosted by Manoj Ladwa, a well-known Indian-British entrepreneur and founder of the India Global Forum (IGF). In a first-of-its-kind, Elon Musk hosted a delegation of prominent Indian business leaders at SpaceX’s Starbase facility in Texas. The exclusive gathering offered Indian entrepreneurs a rare opportunity to interact with Musk and explore the state-of-the-art space exploration hub.

Tripathi’s post thanked Musk’s companies, SpaceX and Starlink, for their contributions to advancing humanity’s technological frontiers, and highlighted the global nature of the event where these thought leaders converged.
The post also included a photograph of him alongside Musk, Oyo founder Ritesh Agarwal, and other prominent Indian dignitaries. Agarwal also shared a post on X where he shared insights from his interaction with Elon Musk. In his post, Agarwal revealed “some other interesting thoughts” from their conversation, including Musk’s fascination with Maha Kumbh Mela. “He is fascinated about Kumbh mela,” Agarwal wrote.
While it remains to be seen if Musk will make his way to the banks of the Ganga for the Maha Kumbh, Tripathi’s invitation has already sparked excitement among fans of the tech mogul and admirers of Indian culture. Commenting on the post, one user said “Great.. Love seeing @elonmusk at maha kumbh mela”. “One of the best things I have seen on my feed in recent days!,” said another.
